CPW 120 Eunice lake site. Start 9:00 am end 11:00am. Clear and sunny, temp 60/62deg f. Seen and heard 2 pika. Observing 1 pika when we heard another pika.

Be aware of mosquitoes there are thousands of them.
CPW116 sitting location 45.88725, -122.05572. 10 AM to 11 AM 64 to 67 degrees. We heard about 15 short calls, of 3 individuals. Around 10:35 AM we saw movement and Were able to snap a few photos.

Clear skies. Temperature 69 degrees Fahrenheit. Started observation at 7:45 AM and ended 8:30 AM. 2 pika spotted. Heard long and short calls.
We heard multiple meeps from the talus slopes at the lake.
Short and long calls heard. Temp was not more than 65. Spent about 25 minutes here to observe. CPW99
CPW104 July 29 2018, 6:35-7:01 AM, 60F, clear and sunny — half of slope in shade. Heard about 10 meeps, one long call, no sightings.
CPW59. Start time 10.59am. 77F, about 56 humidity, full sun. No sighting of pika. But Pika heard, 3 short calls within about 4 min of arriving at sitting spot. Estimated from same pika who did not move. (Photo is where Thought the pika might have been) Stayed for another 39min. heard no other calls, saw no pika, did not notice hay piles or latrines. two couples of trail maintenance volunteers walked by sitting sit during observation and their work site could be heard. No other trail traffic. Watch for lots of poison oak along edge of trail (trail clear except few leaves at ankle height at very margin).

Also heard 2 distinct Pika short calls on the way up about 0.5 mile in at 9:16am but was very far off in the distance to the left of us of facing upslope.
