The goal of this project is to catalog and identify the mosses and lichens found in the Mercer Slough Nature Park, Bellevue, WA. If possible, check existing observations to avoid too many observations of the same moss or lichen at a particular location at the same time of year. Sightings that show seasonal changes and population changes over time would be great to have.
As we accumulate observations, we plan to include identification tips, seasonal sightings, and information about moss and lichen species.
At 320 acres, the Mercer Slough Nature Park is Lake Washington's largest remaining wetland. It is comprised of wildlife habitats, freshwater wetland ecosystems, and a cultivated blueberry farm.
